I truly enjoyed the location and the apartment.

Hassan waited for me which was very sweet since my flight was delayed . I really appreciated it.

They could have more linen but everything else was great. It will be also a good idea to have some international outlet in the house just in case. Thank you.

What would you highlight about Elegant Appartement Etoile

The stay in this apartment ruined our trip, which was intended to be relaxing and enjoyable.

We liked close to nothing about this stay. What could have been a proper apartment was an utter disappointment due to so many problems. I wish I could write more in the dislike section below, but Booking.com does not allow more than a certain number of words. The owner tried to help, but it was just not enough.

1- Even though the owner told us we could check in early, Astrid the agent never arrived! We waited for 1 hour until someone else gave us the key (he did not even tell us his name, and he admit that he had never been to the apartment before, and also told us that the apartment was a “big flop” and laughed at how dirty it was). 2- There was an overwhelming stench of dust and smoke all over the apartment, even though this is stated to be a non-smoking accommodation. 2- Sample pictures of how the apartment looked like at our arrival are attached below. We couldn't take pictures of everything, but there was filth everywhere. Toilet stains and hair, kitchen grime, dust on every single surface! The apartment was not obviously not cleaned even though we paid for a cleaning fee. The agent did not answer our calls so we had to reach the owner directly. He did make plans for cleaning to be done, but we had to wait for more time. 3- We waited for 3 hours for the cleaning to be finished (even after “cleaning” the apartment was still dirty and smelled of dust). We waited an extra 1.5 hours for linen and towels to arrive. The linen smelled of mold and we basically threw everything in the washing machine because it smelled horrible. 4- The owner initially informed us that he would refund us if we didn’t like the cleaning, because he admitted that the apartment was indeed in terrible shape (we sent him the pictures). However, when the “cleaning” was done and we told him that we did not like the apartment as it was obviously still dirty, he said he could not refund us because he would “lose money” and he did not want to lose money. 5- The owner informed us that he would arrange for the building caretaker to buy kitchen utensils as needed, because the kitchen utensils were outdated and unclean.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a lovely part of Paris with easy access to all ammenities.

The apartment was quite spacious and comfortable for our nine-day stay. The owner was very helpful when required. We chose the area because it was considerably cheaper than central Paris. Once we established the revised bus routes, it was easy to get around Paris

The apartment itself was very clean but unfortunately, previous guests had stored several cooking utensils and left them unwashed.

This was a beautifully furnished apartment in a nice, residential area of Paris. Access to the city was easy by metro.

appartment was nice and safe and nothing was lacking...

appartment was nice and safe and nothing was lacking inside ,shops and markets and bakeries nearby very safe, middle class neibourhood comfy beds and hot water all the time and great bathroom and kitchen The owner was welcoming and let us leave our luggage in the appartment on the day of departure.

appartment is a bit old and door handle in the toilet broke. It was fixed, but only on the last day. a bit far from metro walking with kids, but bus stop nearby. we had to pay 50 euro because we arrived late (after 21:00) which was not our fault - our plane was late. It was a bit of a downer, after we spent all day at the airport. and were ,exhausted and tired

A pleasant stay. A comfy home atmosphere.

An experience of life in the suburbs. Place is like someone let me stay for a few days while the person goes on holiday.

The toilet is like a closet. The kitchen wares needs to be sorted from the broken plates and usable ones. Pots n pans too. On weekdays, the noise from a kindergarten nearby can be heard very loud, if one decides to have late morning.
